About Jena: In 2006 Jena traded in my cheerleading shoes for combat boots and joined the military. I joined the Army National Guard and served until 2014 as a weapons and supply specialist for an aviation unit in Grand Ledge, Michigan. In 2012 I joined the American Legion, a Veterans Service Organization, where I now continue to serve, connect, and help veterans in need.
