Join Our Rapidly Expanding Grand Rapids Law Firm as an Attorney Processing ERTC Claims!
Job Summary:
We are seeking bright and motivated attorneys to join our growing practice of processing Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) claims for small business owners. Tax preparation experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn. Litigation skills are a plus but not required. The ability to communicate with clients and make them comfortable is important. This is a full-time employee position located in our Downtown Grand Rapids office. Our firm has been in business for over 30 years with multiple office locations and over 60 full-time employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As an attorney in our firm, you will be responsible for reviewing client files, researching applicable Covid orders in our database, conducting Zoom meetings with clients, and developing narratives to qualify clients for ERTC credits. You will also use our custom-designed web-based software to generate documents for electronic signatures, utilizing your legal skills learned in law school and legal practice.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree required.
- Member of the State Bar (Any State) and in good standing.
- No minimum number of years in practice – skill set is most important.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage files with the assistance of an admin.
- Detail oriented.
- Good computer skills, including email, web browsing, and basic spreadsheet skills.
- Professional attitude and strong personal ethics.
- Tax preparation experience is a plus.
Compensation Package:
The base pay for this position is $90,000, which includes 401k, health, dental, life insurance, and 2 weeks of paid vacation. You will also receive additional compensation based on the number of cases you complete each month, with the potential to earn over $120,000 per year plus benefits. Your income is solely dependent on your performance. Look-back bonuses are available based on the quality and quantity of your work.
