Attorney Job Summary
- The Law Offices of David L. Carrier, P.C. is currently hiring bright attorneys to join our growing practice of processing ERTC claims. ERTC or ERC is an Employee Retention Tax Credit for small business owners. You do not need to be a tax attorney or an accountant. No tax experience is necessary. You will be trained on what you need to know – hence the ability and desire to learn are important.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, attention to detail, and take pride in their work. You will be trained on our customized software.
- Experience taking depositions, interviewing clients and witnesses, and other litigation skills are all a plus.
- We provide downtown office space, computer software, and all necessary equipment.
Attorney Duties and Responsibilities
Your legal skills will be used in reviewing small business owner client files, researching our database for applicable Covid orders, meeting with the client via zoom, and developing a narrative to qualify the client for ERTC credits. You will use our custom-designed web-based software in generating documents for the client’s electronic signature. You will apply the legal skills you learned in law school and your legal practice.
Attorney Requirements and Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree required.
- Member of the State Bar (Any State) and in good standing.
- No Minimum number of years in practice – the skill set listed above is most important.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage your files with the assistance of an Admin.
- Detail oriented.
- Good computer skills – using email, web browser, and basic spreadsheet skills.
- Professional attitude and strong personal ethics.
- No tax experience is needed.
Compensation Package
The base pay is $90,000. This includes 401k, health, dental, life insurance, and 2 weeks of paid vacation. You receive additional compensation based on how many cases you complete in 2 weeks. It is extremely easy to earn over $100,000 per year plus benefits. You can earn $120,000 per year when you meet the same targets as dozens of other team members. $150,000 or more if you decide to be one of our stronger performers. Your income is solely dependent on you. Look-back bonuses are also available, based on the quality and quantity of your work.
