Jim Mangi, PhD

About Jim:Jim had a career as a scientist, an entrepreneur, owner of a nationwide business, and consultant to a wide range of Federal Government clients.

None of that prepared him in the least for his second career, as caregiver for his wife, who is now in the 15th year of her journey with Younger Onset Alzheimer’s Disease.

In addition to his ongoing role of caring for his wife. Jim has been a volunteer community educator and conference speaker with the Alzheimer’s Association for four years, presenting the full catalog of caregiver education classes offered by the Association. Jim can typically add his own experience and perspective to the solid, evidence-based information provided by the Association.

This is the Alzheimer’s Association’s first evidence-based program.
