How do I go about making an estate for my deceased aunt
Long story short some documents I need to proceed with 401 for my brother who is also deceased?
Answer: File a petition with the probate court to open the estate, including letters of authority and proof that you are the sole heir at law. If you are not the only heir, you will need to send copies of all relevant documents to all family members. Additionally, you must provide notice to all known creditors of your deceased aunt.
Alternatively, you can consult with an attorney to handle these tasks for you, and the same applies to your brother if needed.
