Am I entitled to any of my dad’s property if he left everything to my mom then me?

I am in my father’s will to receive his property but my mother is to receive it before me. Can she change the will and take me completely out of my dad’s will. She’s mentally unstable and has her sister running my childhood home and dad’s money. They told me that they would see to it that I never got any of my dad’s money. He saved all his life for me.

Answer: Your mother cannot change your father’s will. However, if she receives all of your father’s property after his death, then it becomes her property, and she can dispose of it as she wishes.

It’s important to clarify whether your father is still alive. If he is alive and mentally competent, he has the ability to change his will if he chooses to do so. If he is deceased and your mother is the sole beneficiary, she would receive all the property and can handle it according to her preferences.
